Uncle Sam called James into the Army October 1953. After basic training he was sent to Fort Sheridan, Illinois, where he completed his tour of service.
He was discharged November 1955.

We moved to Mobile, Alabama December 1955 and our first son, James Randall, was born January 28, 1956.
Our second son, Dwayne Lynn, came along 3 years later,
on February 6, 1959.
We were blessed to have two fine boys.  Our first grandchild was born October 1979 and February 1980, he came to live with us.  A terrible tragedy dealt a deep blow to our family
September 18, 1992 when our oldest son, Randy, was tragically
killed in a motorcycle accident.
He left five precious children, ages 2-10 years,
which the courts awarded us custody.  They are all grown
now, the two girls are married and given us 3 great granddaughters, two of the boys are employed, and
the youngest is attending college, as of this date
September 14, 2010.
Even with all the heartaches God has truly been good to us. We have been blessed to meet so many people through the Internet and been more blessed to have met so many of our chat friends in person.

It is sad occasion for me now, as on May 5, 2010 I lost this wonderful man while he underwent Open Heart Surgery.  But we all know he is resting in peace in his Heavenly home.
The last picture taken of us Easter Sunday, April 2010, before his death in May.
